Welcome to the Artistic Realm of Saghar Ghorbanian

Hello, and thank you for visiting my creative space. I’m Saghar Ghorbanian, an Iranian visual artist and sculptor currently residing in the vibrant city of Istanbul, Turkey.

My journey in the arts began with a degree in painting from the University of Science and Culture in Tehran (Elmo Farhang), from which I graduated in 2018.

Since then, I’ve been dedicated to exploring and expressing the depths of human emotion and experience through my art.

Expressionist-style painting of a woman with short dark hair, wearing a red and white striped dress and a pearl necklace. She sits in a colorful interior, holding a lit cigarette in one hand and a long wooden pipe in the other. Her face is vibrantly painted in warm hues of red, yellow, and orange, with deep shadows and exaggerated features. Behind her, lush green leaves and abstract blue and orange elements add depth. The style is bold, textured, and richly colored, conveying introspection and intensity.

Art, for me, is a medium of connection, a way to share stories, evoke contemplation, and remind us of our shared humanity. My work aims to fuse various art forms, creating pieces that not only reflect my inner world but also resonate with the viewer on a profound level.

Embracing Sculpture: A New Dimension

Two years ago, I embarked on a new artistic path: sculpture. This venture has opened up fresh avenues for expression, allowing me to explore form and space in three dimensions. I’m thrilled to announce that I will soon be opening my own art gallery in Istanbul, a space dedicated to showcasing both my paintings and sculptures. This gallery will serve as a hub for artistic exploration and community engagement.
